IHPSA will be hosting a screening for our Film Series in collaboration with Community & Global Health and our 2SLGBTQ+ community representative. Join us on March 24th, from 1:30-3:30 PM, in Human Ecology Rm. 216, for the screening of the film, Born to Be.
Born to Be is a film that provides an intimate look at the emotional and physical journeys of transgender and gender non-conforming patients seeking gender-affirming surgery. This event and our featured films will center around the theme of Visionary Lens as an Education Tool, shining light on lived experiences to foster an environment open to queer folks, and allies. Our goal as a community is to continue listening to experiences of trauma in order to heal the future.
