Frequently asked questions.

What is IHPSA?

The Interdisciplinary Health Program Students’ Association, or IHPSA, is the faculty association representing Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) and Bachelor of Health Studies (BHSt) students of the Interdisciplinary Health Program, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.

Throughout the academic year, IHPSA organizes a variety of events, ranging from fun movie nights to rewarding volunteering opportunities. At the start of each month, general council meetings are also held, both online and in person, to keep members informed and engaged!

How do I become a member of IHPSA?

IHPSA is open to all students of the Interdisciplinary Health Program! No official sign-up is needed, but make sure to join the IHPSA Discord so that you don’t miss out on any announcements.

How does the Student Experience Record (SER) work with IHPSA?

All General Council members must attend at least 50% or 10 hours worth of scheduled meetings and events to receive SER recognition, whichever is less.

Who can I contact if I want more information regarding an event?

For any event-related questions, please send an email to contact@ihpstudents.ca. If you are part of the IHPSA Discord, you may also send a message in the #ihpsa-questions channel!
